My summer hiking experience took place yesterday, August 2nd with the young women at Basin Park. Well, we all thought the hike would be 12 miles, but in reality, the trail we had to end up taking to the beach added an additional 5 or so miles. So yeah, Half Dome all over again. But way more fun and not such a complete nightmare. lol. We hiked to a beach, (Waddle). The waves were good and the water was kind of cold but it was pretty fun. We ate mexican food on the beach that was pretty good too. We were supposed to get back at 8 at night, but as we all know, considering previous hiking experiences with our ward, that just wasn't going to happen. I wasn't surprised if we returned at 8 the next morning actually. BUT, no. We did better than that believe it or not. We got back to church around 11 at night. Ok, well I just thought I'd let you guys know about it. :) thanks for reading. I hope I eventually get pictures up from the trip. K well I better go, many things to do. Bye! Court
